Roger Dean

Roger Dean is a well-known artist and creator of album covers for progressive rock bands, primarily Yes. For Gentle Giant, he created the European cover of Octopus.

Trivia

At one time, the original Octopus artwork was for sale on Roger Dean's web site for $150,000 US.
