Gentle Giant was actually mentioned in Playboy Magazine, albeit in the Ukrainian edition of the magazine. In the February 2007 issue, there was an interview with a Russian movie director, Pavel Ruminov, who is apparently a big fan of GG. He said in the interview that he would like to make a movie about the last year of GG's existence when they made Civilian and were about to dissolve the band.

The cover featured the Ukrainian pop singer, Fennix.
