Never bully a Gentle Giant fan

When I was in 7th grade in Chicago (1972), there was a bully named Danny who took my yo-yo and wouldn't give it back. Never saw him again, until the Gentle Giant concert on November 20, 1977. I had moved to this godforsaken cold place -- Bemidji, MN. I had all my GG albums to listen to -- it was either that or country twang, which I hate. My friends and fellow GG lovers got me a ticket and I came back for the Giant concert on Sunday and another concert the evening before -- Nektar (I slept through most of the Nektar concert -- my friends couldn't believe it -- I had driven all night Friday to get there).
Anyway, Gentle Giant was in rare form the next night, and part of their music, as everyone knows (except this jerk Danny) is to hold a note or pause right in the middle of a song. So Danny shouts out "play it, you jerk!". I don't know which band member did it, but one of them -- right in the middle of playing their instrument -- flipped Danny off!! Gary Green stopped playing, and did a polite little clap for his bandmate, who had just showed this loser, you have to wait for good things!!! The place erupted, it was sooooo cool!!!
Since this was the only time I remember Gentle Giant playing in Chicago, it was the best night of my life. And I got the last laugh on the guy who stole my yo-yo. The prick.
