Memory:Angus Birkin

This fan memory was written by Angus Birkin.

In my younger days eg 1970 i went to see the what i thought were the best band around "Groundhogs" i recall it was their last day on tour and was just before christmas.

The supporting band was Gentle Giant who i had never heard of at the time but was blown away by the music and energy of the band as well as the skill on all types of instruments.

The main highlights was the violin play and the title song Giant as well as the quirky Alucard, it completely over shadowed the groundhogs and my wife and i both still talk about that concert.
