Count Zorroz and the Green Nigels was a band in the 1980s that included drumming by John Weathers. Their album was 13 Square Kilometres of Music.

John wrote in 2005, when the CD was supposedly going to be rereleased:

In the early eighties, I was approached by a couple of "arty punks" who had recorded a few tracks at a local studio. They wanted to know if I was willing to lay drums over the click track they had used, after a few beers I agreed and to be honest thought that the songs weren't half bad. If I remember correctly I even helped out on the mixing but I haven't heard the tapes for twenty odd years.

Zorroz, who is a very nice chap, has been in touch recently and talked about doing a few CDs for anyone who was interested and I gave him my permission to do as he wanted with them. I guess he'll send me a copy soon, which, after all this time, I must admit I look forward to hearing. And there, in a nutshell, is the story.
