Legendary UK disc jockey Alan "Fluff" Freeman was a mainstay of the BBC pick of the pops radio show during the 1960s and 1970s, and also hosted the Saturday rock show. He passed away in 2006, aged 79.
Fan Phil Davis reports:
I have a vivid recollection of Fluff playing "Inside Out" from Civilian sometime during the 1980s. When the song reached its climax, he promptly read out all of the lyrics and then set the record running again saying what an absolutely classic track it was. That was typical Fluff though, with his boundless enthusiasm for good music. He'll be sadly missed.
