2014

• 2014-11-30: A new 2-CD live recording, Live at the Bicentennial, was released by Alucard Music in November 2014. It's available from Burning Shed and other fine retailers.
• 2014-09-04: September 4 is the 20th anniversary of this site.
• 2014-08-19: New interview with Ray Shulman at Spectrum Culture
• 2014-07-29: Progressive Rock is a new eBook by GG fan Stefano Orlando Puracchio.
• 2014-07-28: Interview with Derek Shulman in the Huffington Post (scroll down to the middle).
• 2014-07-20: The new CD, DVD, and Blu-Ray versions of The Power and the Glory are now available from Alucard and other merchants. It's getting fantastic reviews from fans.
• 2014-04-23: Interview with Derek Shulman on hit-channel.com.
• 2014-04-07: A new 5.1 surround-sound remix by Steven Wilson of The Power and the Glory is nearing completion and should be available in "a few months." The disc set includes Blu-Ray, DVD, and CD formats.
• 2014-04-03: Alucard Music has opened a new web store at Burning Shed, replacing their old store at gentlegiantmusic.com.

2013

• 2013-09-08: A one-hour radio show on Gentle Giant will play on NDR in Germany on September 21, 2013, at 23:05 local (German) time. It includes an interview with Kerry Minnear and is listenable via live stream.
• 2013-09-03: Deke Leonard, a member of John Weathers's old man, Man, has just published a book, The Twang Dynasty, about "guitarists who rocked the world."
• 2013-06-19: A 5-CD compilation, Memories Of Old Days, is coming out this summer on Parlophone.
• 2013-02-25: The GG store has reopened.

2012

• 2012-09-02: Damon Shulman has a new EP out with his band, The Bending Space.
• 2012-07-19: Three Friends has a new web site
• 2012-06-27: I Lost My Head (The Chrysalis Years 1975-1980) is a new 4-CD compilation.
• 2012-05-09: Three Friends is playing in Quebec in October 3-7, New York on October 9, and Tel Aviv on November 2. See the Three Friends gigs page for details.
• 2012-02-27: I deleted a bunch of fake (spam) accounts on this site. If yours got deleted by mistake, just create a new one. - Dan
• 2012-01-24: See the advertisement for the Free Hand and In'terview remasters.
• 2012-01-08: The UK editions of Free Hand and In'terview are being released on CD/DVD on February 27, 2012. These special editions feature a lost quadraphonic mix on the DVD. The special 4.1 Surround Sound mix (DTS 96/24 and Dolby Digital 48kHz/24bit) has been adapted from the original quad mixes and appears on these special editions. The releases also include new sleeve notes written by the band.
• 2012-01-08: Strictly limited vinyl editions of the new Free Hand and In'terview releases are available exclusively through Townsends.

2011

• 2011-12-23: Ray has an interview in the February 2012 Vintage Guitar Magazine. (Thanks to Vince Vigilotti for the tip!)
• 2011-11-14: The entire Drumhead magazine interview with John Weathers is now online! Thanks to Drumhead for permission.
• 2011-11-10: New live CD, The Other Face of the Gentle Giant - Live!
• 2011-10-03: John is in the September 2011 issue of Modern Drummer.
• 2011-09-14: Gary and Malcolm were interviewed on July 22.
• 2011-09-14: Derek and Gary will appear at FYE in Philadelphia on October 1 to promote the new releases of Three Friends and Octopus. The address is 100 South Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA, at 2:00pm.
• 2011-07-06: The new releases of Three Friends and Octopus will be available September 27, 2011! They are remastered from the original 1/4" tapes and will be released by Alucard Publishing and distributed through EMI.
• 2011-06-12: The original master recordings for Three Friends and Octopus are now owned by the band, thanks to efforts by Derek. They will be remastered and released with bonus material.
• 2011-05-21: Gary Green and Malcolm Mortimore will be playing with Ibrido Hot Six in Italy in June, 2011. See dates.

2010

• 2010-12-18: Diana Green is selling GG calendars for 2011.
• 2010-12-09: John Weathers is in the January 2011 issue of Modern Drummer magazine.
• 2010-10-11: Damon Shulman's new album, Yard Time, is available for download.
• 2010-07-15: Interview with Gary Green at examiner.com.
• 2010-06-09: A bug was preventing articles with "&" in their titles from being displayed. Now fixed.
